It is with great excitement that we announce the merger between Panda Pediatrics and Heartland Community Health Center. Effective January 1, 2021, Panda Pediatrics will become a part of Heartland Community Health Center and will continue to provide high-quality and accessible care for the children of Lawrence-Douglas County and beyond.

IS MY CHILD A HEARTLAND PATIENT NOW?
Your medical records will be transferred to Heartland by January 1. All Panda Pediatric patients will become Heartland patients, but you should not anticipate any changes regarding your provider or care team. Your Panda Pediatric Provider will continue to provide care for your child.
HOW DOES HEARTLAND SCHEDULING WORK?
When you call, please let the staff know you are a Panda Pediatric patient (or pediatric patient)needing to schedule your child’s appointment.

HOW MUCH WILL I PAY AT HEARTLAND?
Heartland does not want cost to be a barrier to your health care. As a community health center, Heartland can serve the uninsured, under- insured and those with commercial insurance plans.
