Lauren Poull, MD, FAAP

Dr. Lauren Poull is a Jayhawk, completing her pre-medical and medical training at Kansas University in 2014, she then went on to complete her residency at the prestigious Seattle Children’s Hospital in 2018.  She is certified through the Pediatric Board and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.  

Dr. Poull was raised first in California and then in Kansas; her father is a master plumber, and her mother is a pediatric nurse.  As a child she could be found reading a book on the playground, rehearsing with SYT at the Lawrence Arts Center, or in ballet class.  After graduating from Lawrence High School Dr. Poull earned her undergraduate degree in Filmmaking from Boston University and studied abroad both in London and in Sydney.

Dr. Poull has interest in preventative and integrative medicine with a focus on nutrition.  She is continuing her education by studying to improve her French language skills.  When not in clinic you can find her in her garden, at the Lawrence Farmers Market, or cheering for her kids’ soccer teams.

In clinic she is focused on getting to know each child and family and on reducing stress and anxiety related to office visits or minor medical procedures.  Her research is focused on workplace wellbeing.

Dr. Lauren Poull resides in Lawrence with her husband Gabe Lewis-O’Connor, and their children Eamon and Celia.
